A Neighbourhood Shop
Most of our regulars come from the streets around Queen West, Liberty Village, Little Portugal, and Ossington. Some walk over after work; others take the Queen streetcar from farther west. However they arrive, we want the shop to feel familiar, relaxed, and worth returning to.

Toronto's barbering tradition stretches back to 1802. The brick-and-beam factories of Liberty Village were built in the 1860s. Barberhood opened in 2018 to be a small but lasting part of that story, on streets that have seen Toronto change a dozen times.

What's the difference between a fade and a skin fade?
A skin fade blends the hair all the way down to the scalp using a straight razor for the cleanest, sharpest contrast. A standard fade leaves some hair at the shortest point.
